2019 Week 5 Results

Week 5 saw a serious contender make another big move for the first time. We are now 1/3 of the way in the season and Dyer R. has already taken his second win of the year. This time he finished 8-2 with 48 points. He had it locked up before the Pac-12 after dark game even kicked off, too. This does help out those on the bubble for the Wild Card as Dyer has already locked up his position, so the 2nd win opens up an extra at large bid.

Week 5 Trends:

  • Dyer R. has won his 2nd week of the season, the last person to do so was Meghan M. last season and she went on to win the regular-season title.

  • For the 4th straight week, the top two bid teams (Ohio State - 331 pts, Auburn - 266 pts) covered the spread keeping the points coming in hot.

  • UCF (-43.5) became the biggest spread to be included on the pick em. The Civil ConFLiCT always is a trend-setting rivalry.
