2019 Week 2 Results
Week 2 was a fairly high scoring week throughout the Pick Em as no one had a record worse than 3-7. However, on the other end, no one had a better record than 7-3. It was a close few games that separated the top from the bottom and confidence point selection played a huge role this week. Tim F topped the scoreboard this week scoring 46 points while going 7-3. Tim takes the 2nd automatic qualifying Wild Card spot and has jumped up towards the top of the leaderboard.
Week 2 Trends:
The two highest bid teams: UCF (380 pts, 11.3% of all bids) and Ohio state (349 pts, 10.4% of bids) both were able to fairly easily cover their spreads, that helps lead to a higher floor in scoring.
However, every other underdog, in terms of points bid on them, covered their game. For this to happen at that level is pretty rare and makes sense given the range of records this week.
Army (155-174 pts), Maryland (111-255 pts), A&M (167-181 pts), Colorado (115-163 pts), BYU (75-202 pts), LSU (128-165 pts), USC (96-237 pts), Cal (59-251 pts)
7 players tied at 3-7 for worst record, 5 players tied at 7-3 for best record, so 49 players were between 4-6 and 6-4. A wildly even week.
