2019 Week 7 Results

Coming off of the worst all-around picking week of the year, it was a big bounceback as week 7 was collectively the 2nd best picking week of the year for the entirety. Latte B. was able to come out on top despite not having the best record, going 7-3 for 46 points. Latte becomes our 6th automatic qualifier for the Wild Card. They also extend their already sizeable lead in first place to a now commanding hold over everyone else.

Week 7 Trends:

  • As a whole, 72% of 10 point confidence picks this week were correct. The highest total of not only any 10 point pick all year, but any pick all year. Week 3, 9 confidence is the only other single pick to be over 70%.

  • 8 of 10 higher picked teams got wins this week. The only two upsets being USC (16 picks, 92 points) and Temple (30 picks, 98 points).

  • Of the three biggest bids, 2 were able to cover the spread. Alabama (51 picks, 361 pts) and Wisconsin (41 picks, 293 pts) covered, while Notre Dame (43 picks, 297 points)

  • Of the 6 automatic qualifiers for the WIld Card Playoff, 4 are in the top 5 of the standings (Latte, Ted, Jeremy, Dyer) and would qualify regardless, while 2 are outside of the qualifying spot (Tim F-34th, Dylan- 44th)
