Ryan T. Takes Week 3 Crown And Earns Wild Card Spot

In another close attempt at the perfect week, Ryan T. goes 9-1 to become our Week 3 winner. 50 points tops us off on our most down week collectively of the 3 weeks so far. Only 5 people went above 6-4 this week and only 4 entries were in the 40s, both far lower than previous weeks. The top of the standings is starting to get tight and the Wild Card is still alive for everyone down early (me). Both of those updated standings HERE. Below are some of the highlights from the Week 3 games:

  • Alabama surpassed their Week 1 confidence points by getting 456 total bid on them this week. And as is natural they did not cover. Only 10 people had Florida, well done.

  • Virginia Tech had 3 possessions inside the 10 that produced 0 points, including 4 plays in the final minute to win it and cover, but WVU still won and covered. Pathetic.

  • Back-to-back weeks for BYU in the after dark slot as a home-dog. Last week only 21 people took them for 87 points, this week everyone caught on and they got 47 picks for 207 points while easily winning.

  • Purdue could not get their drum into the stadium, and that sealed the game before it even started as Notre Dame covered for 30 people.
