2022 Week 4 Individual Results

First Chaos Week to End September

Week 4’s theme was definitely survival. We had 4 hugely picked teams not cover which resulted in a lot of lower records and points. Correct confidence point placement played a big role this week. Our best record was 7-3 hit by less than 10 people, but one of those also finished in 31st due to a tough confidence point draw. Peter S. came out on top with a 7-3 and 43 point week to take 1st place and secure a Wild Card spot. Matt D. was just behind in 2nd with 42 points. At the top of the overall standings, Chris H. has opened up a bit of a lead with a 15 point gap in front of 2nd place. 1 week can always change everything though. You can always see up to date standings in their page here.

Some weekly trends from the games:

  • After a good public week in Week 3 it was destined for some favorites to fall short. Clemson (441), Oklahoma (496), USC (534) were all 3 of the 4 top bid teams and all failed to cover.

  • Two of the teams did cover though with a good amount of points laid. Ohio State (488) and Kansas (321) both looked impressive (for their own standards) this week.

  • In the craziest game of the week, there were 42 points in the 4th quarter and what felt like 15 flags in the last minute to help Syracuse (221) edge out Purdue (187) on the final play

  • We had a real life meme this weekend after App State (187) blew a 28-3 lead to not only not cover -7.5 but lose outright to JMU (193)

  • Wild finishes were all over this weekend and one especially changed a spread late. Florida (280) scored what looked to be a meaningless td with 25 seconds to cover before getting the onside kick and almost winning outright on the road to Tennessee (195)
