Liam B. Wins Week 5 With Top Record & Points

With a solid 8-2 week for 48 points, Liam B. takes the Week 5 top spot and clinches his spot in the Wild Card. This also boosts him into the top 5 overall for the season. It was a big moving week for a number of people on the overall leaderboard with 5 people having 25+ position changes in either a positive or negative direction. There were five 7-3 records for the week behind Liam’s 8-2 top record, with only 5 of those 6 getting 40+ points for the week. There are now only 4 more weeks left before the Wild Card will kick off, so the time to make your moves is here in October. Reminder for how that works on the FAQs page. Round up of notes from the Week 5 slate below:

  • Arkansas (392) was the 3rd highest bid team of the season as a top 10 dog getting nearly 3 touchdowns. Not a great look as they failed to score a point against Georgia (89)

  • For what has to be the first time ever, Alabama (182) was picked by less people and for less points than than their opponent with Bama getting 28 picks for and 41 against. Ole Miss (210) however still couldn’t cover as Saban continued his domination over former assistants.

  • For the 5th time in 5 weeks, the underdog covered in the game 10 slot. Arizona State (88) was the 4th straight underdog to win outright as well. The only one who didnt win was Florida State in Week 1. The Pac-12 After Dark games continue to bring chaos.

  • There was a rare occasion with a team receiving less picks than their opponent but still having more points risked between the two. Cincinnati (200) had 33 picks for and 36 against, but still had more points than Notre Dame (189) and covered as well.
