Big Scoring Week in the Teams

Nothing like a run of clean weeks at the top 3 in the team section. We had 3 teams breaking 30 this week and earn bonus points as we inch closer to the Week 10 playoff. Parlay Picks & Anus Licks takes top dog with a Larry Bird week scoring 33, they gain 9 bonus points. Berman Ballerz is 1 point behind for 2nd place and will take 6 bonus points. And Bread Company follows suit into 3rd picking up 3 bonus points.

***COMMISSIONERS NOTE ON WEEK 10 TEAM FORMAT***

There is going to be a change to the point restructurings that are set to come Week 10. The original plan was to disperse the teams evenly from 156-100 then add bonus points to those scores. From there we would use weeks 10-14 as a playoff of sorts after the ‘seeding’ from weeks 1-9. This was done so to keep it more even across the board and to make sure teams out of it could still be somewhat in it if they had good bonus points, while still giving a proper tiering and ranking to the teams who have earned it up top. What this will do currently is the opposite. The teams further out will be even more out of it and the teams in striking distance will lose that chance, I did not properly predict how the scoring would break down over the season. That is why this change is happening, to keep the original goal intact of turning weeks 10-14 into the playoff with every team being rewarded properly for their weeks 1-9. THE NEW PLAN is we are going to do the same restructuring in Week 10 as originally planned, but instead of 156-100, we are going to use the Week 9 ending 1st and 15th place scores as the range. The teams will then be evenly distributed from that range. Then bonus points are added on. So it is the same plan and the same goal, with a different range to benefit all. That is the new plan and that is the final plan.
