2023 Week 4 Results

The Four Way Tie

What a week of games to send us into conference matchups. To end our week we had one of our first four way ties for first place. Curt H., Jacob V., Ryan H., and Timmy W. all went 8-2 for 47 points. We did not have a champion step up and win a 3v1 RPS battle so we moved to the confidence point breaker for the winners. In a bit of a funny next level tiebreak, Ryan H. and Timmy W. both missed their 5 and 3, meaning they got their 6-10 confidence picks right, while Curt H. and Jacob V. both missed their 7 and 1, giving them just their 8-10 correct. So Ryan H. and Timmy W. move into the top two slots and we go back to RPS to break it. Ryan H. threw down a scissor which did indeed cut Timmy W.’s paper, making Ryan H. the Week 4 winner and earns him the next AQ bid to the Wild Card. Timmy W. takes 2nd place, and Curt H. took down Jacob V. in their 3rd place tiebreak (Paper>Rock).
